As children and as a student, I may not the most obedient children as sometimes I had done somethings that against your wish. Plus, I also not the most clever student in the university, BUT
I always try to do my best as I could.

Anything happened in the life isn't a big problems as long as you are healthy and happy. The most of the time I am worry about your healthy condition because you had been went through several big operation.

Those pictures in this left hand side is the picture that we taken when we are going to travel around. I hope that we will have more chance to do like that. Of course, after my life is more stable and have the financial income.

My wish is very simple:
"Healthy, Smile, and Positively"
Nothing is important than family, I hope that my family's members will always stay healthy and stay away from the negative portion.

Dean List Award in 22 April 2014

Yesterday I had attended the Dean List Award in my university.
As what i can saw form yesterday, there are a lot people who also gain the Dean list award.
Mostly of them are from the Course of Bachelor of Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Business Administrative and so on.

This was the ever first time for me to gain this award after hard-work at the last semester.
I am really grateful that the school had organized this project, not just for the gaining the certificate,
BUT it's like the recognition for the students who is really give their best contribute in their academy session.

Moreover, the advocate of this project had invited the Dekan of our Business Faculty to give a speech for us. The speech is short but it's meaningful for me. One of the speakers had said that we should keep improving our-self especially our interpersonal skills and value. The pointer of CGPA that appear in our certificate of graduate doesn't mean that we will gain a good job in the market place. In fact, we should keep learning the skills like being well cooperation and communication with others and know the ways how to use computer software as well as machine like photocopy machine.

Her talk did gave me a deep impression and I am thinking what she is trying to convey this message for us. And yet, I am glad that the ceremony is not too boring as I imagine. Of course, every receivers of Dean award were given a chance to go in-front to receive their certificate as well.

Well, that all for my blog. Have a good day anyway =)

Special way to make a friend !

Today, I was making a new friend in one of my subject in my course.
Haha, of course it's a girls who is taking the same group and subject with me.

As we known, it's not easy for most of the students to make friends with others
The reason is due to too many people in a class and it's impossible for us to talk when the lecturer is teaching. Moreover, it's approximately about 100 plus people exist in a class.

BUT for today, our lecturer was allowed us to make friend with one of the students in class.
It's certainly a special way for us to know each other and make friend with other
Honestly, I am glad that my lecturer are allowing us to do this. =)

Okay, entering my core part with making a new friend.
Well, her name is Noor Afizah Min Jee Bt. Shin Chang Won.
Hmm, is it her name sounds little bit different from the common Malay's name??
Yup!! The word "Shin Chang Won" had attract my attention. After asking her, the fact is her father is a Korean, while her mother is a typically local people in Malaysia.
Waoo~ Such an interesting friends!
After that, I found that she was borned in Sabah but been move and growing up at the Selangor.

She was a little cute girls who can speak fluently in Malay and Korean too.
She was taking the course of Islamic Financial and Banking and currently in semester 2.
Apparently I am 2 years older than her in which currently she is 20 years old.
She staying at the Dpp Bank Muamalat which is the Path C in our campus.

After a 30 minutes conservation between us, I had knew that she a the second children among her siblings which total is 5 siblings all of them. Her elder brother had married but the leave of siblings is still under the education. Well, the most interesting things is she has the common hobby with me --- anime fans!! Since I was secondary school times, I was craving for the anime so much. Thus, I am really happy that I had knew someone who also have the same hobby with me!

On the other hand, like anyone else in Malaysians, mostly the food we like is tomyam~ Tomyam has a aromatic which full of flavor of spicy and it's may filled with seafood such as prawn, cuttlefish and so on

Her favorite food also included the Roti Planta and Bihun soup as well.

Besides that, we also exchange our contact information like Facebook, cell-phone number and email as well. Hopefully that we will still contact with each other in the future.
That's all for today !

Learning something different: Impasse

Today, I found something that is interesting.

Impasse.
of course it mean that a situation in which no progress is possible, especially because of disagreement or a deadlock.

OR,
it is mean that a situation that exists when the bargaining negotiation occurs within the two sides negotiating an agreement are unable to reach an agreement and become deadlocked.

Actually, I  had learned this word yesterday as I reading the book from one of my subject in my course, which is the Negotiation .
Undeniable, this subject is a interesting subject after I went through for 18 subjects within 3 semester.

Basically this subject teach us the techniques and ways to negotiate and deal with others in the working field or even in our life. From our university (UUM), certainly we are learning the skills and management all the times, BUT, is there anyone ever think about the impasse in our real life??

In fact, I believe all of us had been went through the impasse in sometimes. What I mean here is not the impasse the occurs in the term of business or negotiation/bargaining, is the impasse that we went through from our life.

Sometimes, we may felt no confidence, depress or even despair. There are variety of reasons may cause us felt negatively about our-self. For instance, some people may loss in their business, fail to provide comfortable living for family and so on. This is what we called as " impasse of life".

For the people are unable to control their emotion, some of them might get suicide. This is not a fresh news anymore as we can see many cases that happened and appear in the newspapers.

However, nothing is impossible.
It's depends on how we are going to choose the path we want to.
In case if happen a bad thing, we can choose to be positively face and settle the problem, but not act intensively blame the incident(bad) to others. We just need to be calm down and find out the way. That's all.

& don't forget give yourself a break for sometimes =)

Sungai Petani hit

Today I will talking about my hometown ---- SP (Sungai Petani)!
Basically, SP is one of the main town in the state of Kedah, Malaysia.
It's located at the North of peninsula Malaysia which is the state that near to the South of Thailand.
Most of the people here are love going to the Thailand as one of their favourite choice for travel.

By the way, in term of population, SP is a place that mostly located by Malays, Chinese and follow by Indians.
This phenomena can be seen easily as there is a lot of Malay food stalls.
We can taste a lot of taste Malay's food such as ayam rendang, satay and grab our breakfast in their food stalls such as nasi lemak and kuih-muih.

What's the things that made us remember about Sungai Petani?
The most significant symbol of SP is the Clock Tower Sungai Petani

Below of picture show the beauty of clock tower during the the day time.

The major landmark of Sungai Petani is a clock tower located on the main street, Jalan Ibrahim.
As information, the clock tower was built in 1936.
It is 12.1 m in height. It is topped by a dome-shaped structure. The tower was a present from Lim Lean Teng to George V and Queen Mary to commemorate the Silver Jubilee.

Secondly, the place i would like to introduce to the readers about the Sungai Petani is the Silver Jubilee Park or called as Taman Jubli Perak.

Silver Jubliee Park is managed by Sungai Petani Municipal Council (MPSPK) and is located at the edge of the town centre at Jalan Sungai Layar.
Besides, It is an ideal place to relax and  picnic. Since I was a kid, my family use to jog in this park every weekend and local residents also utilize this place especially for the kinder-garden school that carry on activities for the kids.

Thirdly, the place I would like to introduce is the " The Carnival" water theme park.
It's located at the Cinta Sayang &  Country Golf Resort  in Sungai Petani,
This theme park was opened on 26th December, 2006 and it is the only water & land theme park in Kedah state .
So, don't miss it if you have been in SP!

Next, I would like to introduce the Mount Jerai or called as "Gunung Jerai"
The picture above show the beauty of mount Jerai from the long sight.
As information, Mount Jerai is the tallest mountain (1217 meter) in the northern region and is surrounded by a vast jungle.

Historically, the Jerai mountain served as the navigational point for traders from the east and west. There was a Hindu temple on top of the mountain that was built nearly a thousand years ago during the Bujang Valley Hindu Civilization.
However, it was consequently destroyed by the Malaysian authorities to make way for development.

In addition, people who came here also can do the outdoors activities like jungle trekking and camping. There is an 18 km trekking route to the top of the mountain through a winding road.

At the top the Jerai is a resort and the mountain boasts some tall and cooling waterfalls.
The above picture is the Alur Naga of waterfall at the mount Jerai.
However, there is a legend about the mount Jerai that exist village and kingdom of elves (perkampungan atau kerajaan bunian) in the top of mount Jerai. Thus, the visitors are advise that don't be talk unmannerly and stay in house when it's dark.
For those who are interest with this legend can try to search the inf  ormation via online. =)

The above picture show the resort in the Mount Jerai.
The fasility here had been improved since few years ago and it's a suitable place for the family outing and friend gathering venue as it's quite cheap if compare to the others tourist spot.
Besides, the temperature here in between 19 to 24 celcius with contain high humidity of air are refreshing our mind and soul.
Instead, we can booking the resort for few days as a vacation for family.  Don't miss it or else you will regret.

Against..

Against,
"No.16H420"

After one week of mid semester break,
against,
I am here in my DPP (Dewan Penginapan Pelajar).

Alright,
it is the time I have to face the reality,
to continue studying in my university.

Undeniable,
University look like schools,
but it is not the school in fact.

It is different,
in term of self-management
time management & ...

We need to be independent,
We need to be socialize,
We need to be  cooperate with others.

Yeah,
I learned a lot from here
Thanks to everything i met since 3th September 2012.

My journey,
still on the way,
just like a present continuous tense.

Perhaps,
keeping non-stop of learning
will make our life vivid and difference.

Car learning session !

"Shin, teach him how to drive the car before you go back to campus!" mum said

"Haa, I don't want lah, I still need to complete my assignment before going back to uni." I said

"Can you don't be so self-fish, it won't take a long time to teach your brother. Moreover, he already knew how to drive the car, I just want you accompany with him to drive around this taman. It just like a practice for him before he go to take the car test. By the way, don't forget to cook the rice and I'm going to pasar right now. Bye." mum said

So, what else I can do??
Whatever, what I can do is follow my mother's instruction and she will stop nagging me anymore.
After I done my housework for almost 2 hours, right away i called my brother (Lin) started prepare and switch on the car engine.

After i move out the car out of my house and parking in a suitable place, which is in the road where rare of people and car will pass by, i asked my brother to exchange the seat with me.

"Okay Lin, now you start to press the class which located at your left leg there and adjust the gear into first gear and try ......."
"Sis, I already knew how to control all the function, I just want to adapt the taman's road, so remind me if I did anything wrong."
"Okok, since you said that, then I will just observe you and remind if anything go wrong"

The little brother drove the car smoothly and he was repeated the road for almost n times..
and I started day dreaming and think about my past experience when I'm taking the car test in 4 years ago.
This is an interesting experiences for me in the car learning section. Every learners need to take the theory class at first before going to take the computer test. After pass the computer test, then only the agent will starting to teach you how to drive the car. Theory class was the most ever boring class for me, because it's take whole day for us to listen the lecturer. We all are sleepy and strapping in the lecturing hall and some of the people start playing their phone and ...

"BANG!"
Suddenly our car sounds like hit something, I ask my brother to stop driving the car and I went down to take a look. Fortunately our car isn't hit anything, it just the sound when my brother dint well control the gear and cause the car was dead.

"Thank god!! If anything happen to the car, surely mum will scold both of us!"
"Sorry sis, I didn't though that I will dead the car this sudden."
"Is okay Lin, sometimes people will did wrong right? No one will always did the right thing, so don't feel embarrass or guilty in this incident, okay?"

Sometimes we just need to give people another chance, don't judge the people for only one thing he or she did wrong.
All they need is guide from the others and some positive advice and moral encouragement from the family members.

All I hope is he will be safety and pass in the driving test. That's all.

Mid Semester Breakk!

Eventually today was the second day for my mid semester break but  it's still hard to believe that
" I AM HOME" now!!

The feeling when I was arrived my hometown like " finally it's time for me to take a short break" after almost 3 month staying at the hectic of campus life which full of assignments and projects. After being taking 5 hours of Mara shuttle bus from Sintok to the Sungai Petani, it's worth for me as long as I can reach my lovely home.

When I was young, all my thought is faster growing up and start my own adult life without depending my parents and family. However, I felt that it's wrong and naive about my past statement.

At the age of 22 years old, I had knew that life isn't easy for you as you thought and we cannot survive without the assist from our parents and family.
As a 22 years old student, we may not know all the fundamental skill and knowledge to survive in the society even though we are graduate students. Thus, the support and moral encouragement from our family is a important stage for us to learn soft skills instead of the knowledge from the syllabus we had learned. Thank God that my parents still guide me and love me!

Although there are a lot of assignments are coming home with me, but I am still enjoying my short holiday at my home. In fact, the feeling to do the assignments are different in home instead of being in hostel of campus. Of course there will be better at home compare to campus hostel. In between busy doing my course work, I did enjoyed my holiday outing with my family to Penang. Penang is one of the state in Malaysia which is popular known as "food paradise" and  one of the well known shopping mall in Malaysia. This place being targeted as one of the MUST VISITED place for the foreign tourism and a lot of places such as snake temple, 3D museum, art street, Penang Hill and etc...

This is one of the Street Art by Ernest Zacharevic in Penang.

Another Street Act of "Little children On the bicycle" by Liew Yuen.

One of the examples of 3D Museum.

Well, there is 6 days to go before I end my mid semester holidays and I hope that I can use the time wisely in order to balance my entertainment time and exercising time. Lets enjoy our life no matter currently condition is good or bad and don't ruin your precious time for a small reason. Cheers! =)
